Last December, the Senate has been made in the Charter of the premature infant.
Article 1 clearly states that children born in the very early period of pregnancy should be given the dignity of "person".
Article 3 stresses the fact that when the birth occurs in an early age so as not to give hope of life, healthcare must support parents and give them the chance to be still close to their child.
Because even these children - according to the Charter - are entitled to compassionate care and affection of their parents' presence in the terminal phase.
